You can begin your trip to Lorain County at the Lorain County Visitors Information Center which is conveniently located off exit 140 of the Ohio Turnpike or by exiting I-90 at the SR 58 exit.
Lorain County is located halfway between the Sandusky/Cedar Point area and Cleveland.
From the South:
Take I-71 North to the Rt 250 Ashland/Wooster exit 186. Go east (right) on U.S. Route 250 to Ohio Route 89. Go north (left) on 89 (towards Polk, at bottom of big hill) two miles after exiting. Rt. 58 joins Rt. 89, continue on Rt. 58 north until you reach Findley State Park. If you want to start your trip elsewhere on the route, see the route map to guide you to your chosen trailhead.
From the East (from 1-480):
Travel I-480 west to the Oberlin/Norwalk Exit for Ohio Route 10 (exit is to the left). Rt. 10 becomes Rt. 20. The Oberlin exit (Ohio Route 511 West) takes you into Oberlin. Or you can continue on Rt.20 to SR 58 and turn left. Findley State Park will be about 10 miles on the left.
